Florida has a clear path to the 2020 SEC Championship, but the Gators haven’t locked up anything just yet.

After beating Georgia last weekend in Jacksonville, the Gators have a two-game lead on the Bulldogs in the race to the SEC East division title but Dan Mullen’s team better come with an edge on Saturday night with an improved Arkansas team headed to Gainesville.

In fact, according to Urban Meyer, the Razorbacks have a team capable of leaving The Swamp with a win.

“The (Gators) are playing well. Their defense is starting to get back together. They have to stay focused,” Meyer said during Saturday’s Big Noon Kickoff on FOX. “Can you sustain success? What’s that mean?

“You have to go play Arkansas. Arkansas can beat you. That’s the thing about the SEC top to bottom, if you don’t show up ready to go, you can lose that game.”

If you missed it, Mullen announced that All-SEC tight end Kyle Pitts won’t play this weekend and may not even play next weekend when the Gators are set to at Vanderbilt.

Not having Pitts is going to make it that much harder for Florida to defend its homefield Saturday night when the Razorbacks come to town.
