Florida just got better as two of the program’s most highly regarded signees made their way to campus this week.

The Gators recently issued a video highlighting the arrival of long-time Florida commit, linebacker Diwun Black, and receiver Marcus Burke.

Both players were regarded as four-star prospects in the 2021 recruiting cycle with Black being hailed as the nation’s No. 1 junior college prospect and Burke as one of the top receiver prospects from the Sunshine State.

Black’s journey to Gainesville has been a long one as he signed with the Gators after being recruited by Dan Mullen to Mississippi State (Black actually committed to the Bulldogs back in 2017) and hoped to enroll immediately after high school, but he was forced to enroll at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before making his way to Florida.

Now that he’s officially a Gator, Florida didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to welcome the team’s new linebacker and his teammate to campus.
