After announcing a home-and-home series with Colorado early this week, Florida just announced the series many Gator fans have eagerly been awaiting.

The speculation turned out to be true as Florida and Texas have agreed to a home-and-home series. The first game of the series will take place in Gainesville on Sept. 7, 2030. Florida will then make the trip to Austin the following season on Sept. 6, 2031. The Florida-Colorado series is set to take place in 2028 and 2029.

According to Florida, Texas holds the all-time edge in the series between the two with a 2-0-1 record after three games.

The Gators already have Florida State scheduled for the 2030 and 2031 seasons and now by added the games with Texas, Florida is down to two non-conference openings in each of those seasons which will be filled at a later date.
