After Tim Tebow didn’t make the team with preseason cuts and James O’Shaughnessy on IR with an ankle injury, the Jaguars need all the help they can get at the tight end position.

Urban Meyer is looking to another one of his former Florida players, Trey Burton.

Burton was a freshman at Florida in 2010, Meyer’s last season as the Gators head coach.

Burton was extremely versatile in college. During his time at Florida he played quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end. In the NFL, Burton was a tight end with the Philadelphia Eagles (2014-17), Chicago Bears (2018-19) and Indianapolis Colts (2020).
