After a few seasons of being used as a gadget/utility player, Kadarius Toney settled into a role as a full-time wide receiver in 2020. Toney is one of three Florida pass-catchers expected to be selected in the upcoming NFL Draft.

During a recent appearance on the NFL Network, Toney was asked to discuss the best corners he lined up against last season.

“Best corner I probably witnessed had to be like Jaycee Horn or Patrick Surtain II,” Toney said, per 247Sports. “Those guys like really phenomenal. It’s like a unicorn. Like how everybody big on Kyle Pitts. Those guys are unicorns. You really don’t see a lot of corners able to do exactly what they able to do.”

Toney’s answers of Horn and Surtain should not come as surprises, though he had productive outings against both South Carolina and Alabama. The former Gamecock and Crimson Tide standouts are the top two cornerbacks in most mock drafts. If the 2021 NFL Draft plays out as the mocks predict, all three former SEC standouts will be drafted in Round 1, with Horn and Surtain going in the teens (or higher) while Toney will likely be taken in the mid-to-late 20s.
