Kyle Pitts has been a roller coaster the first three seasons in the NFL, but fantasy owners across the country are optimistic as the 2024 season opens.

Pitts’ Atlanta Falcons are facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1. The former Florida tight end caught an early touchdown pass from new Atlanta QB Kirk Cousins.

Pitts burst onto the scene as a tight end at Florida in 2020, when he caught 43 passes for 770 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Pitts made history when he became the highest-drafted tight end in the history of the NFL, as he was picked 4th in the 2021 NFL Draft.  He had a very good rookie season, as he finished with 68 catches for 1,056 yards and 1 touchdown. However, the past 2 seasons, he has 81 catches and 1,023 yards.

At times, he has looked like he is going to be one of the better tight ends in the league, but he just hasn’t been able to put it all together.

Right now on social media, people are tweeting excitement for the way Pitts is playing.

However, is this the time he finally becomes the breakout star fans have been looking for? Or, is this just another example of the Pitts’ roller coaster?
