The next Heisman Trophy winner from Florida? Gators release highlight reel featuring all 46 Kyle Trask touchdowns
Kyle Trask scored so many touchdowns this season, it took over nine minutes to show them all in a single highlight video.
Florida’s latest Heisman Trophy candidate scored a total of 46 touchdowns in just 11 games this season — which all came against SEC competition — with just five interceptions as Trask led the Gators to an SEC East title and a top 10 ranking heading into the upcoming Cotton Bowl on Dec. 30 vs. Oklahoma.
While Lincoln Riley’s program is the one with the track record of producing Heisman Trophy finalists and top NFL draft picks, there’s no debating which team will feature the better passer in the upcoming Cotton Bowl matchup as Trask may very well win the upcoming Heisman Trophy award.
To honor Trask’s incredible season, Florida has released a highlight video showcasing all 46 touchdowns scored by the Gator signal-caller.
Check it out below:
Great video. Really well done. His play is FanTrasktic!
How bout those throws? Emory should have learned a lot from Trask.
LSU thought the same thing last year.
Everyone thinks the same thing about yours. Congratulations on being the village ____ today.
Looks like I triggered this snowflake…
Take it easy Marsh, it’s not your dad.
@SJACK: Great point.
Booches, why are you so infatuated with the Univ of Florida? Seriously? Doesn’t make sense. Mizzou’s only a thought when we play each other for myself. That only occupies my attention for about an hour a year. Just curious.
Booches just wants someone to believe in him. Nobody but MO fans pay attention to MO except for the one week their team is playing them.
He’s a great player, and could certainly win it when the votes are split between the Alabama players. The biggest disadvantage is probably the three losses. If you’re a passing team and making your Heisman case on passing the ball, you probably need to go undefeated against other candidates who have fewer passing TDs but a RB teammate who is also a Heisman candidate in an undefeated season.
Trask should enjoy his generational wealth regardless of the Heisman votes, though.
I also look forward to the Gators absolutely humiliating the silly Oklahoma team that is somehow ranked in the top ten. They sure were trying to get them in the playoffs again, weren’t they?
Agree that the losses mitigate against him winning. People might forgive the Bama loss, but the turnovers in the final game of the regular season was also not a good look. It would be great if he wins, but he still has had a great career and will not be forgotten!
I think due to the mercurial nature of Heisman voters, the last game can be the most important. 2018 Tua was perfect right until one bad game and that was that.
Disagree. Trask was the best college player in America this year and it is not even close.
Are you serious? Trask wasn’t even the best QB. And he absolutely wasn’t the best college football player in America. What an incredibly homer-ish take.
I call them as I see them with no bias. Trask deserves this reward because he did not have a NFL Offensive Line to protect him. Going toe-to-toe with that NFL-Alabama team should prove he was the best player in America this year. 46 TD’s in 11-SEC games is crazy!! With that said… pulling for Alabama to win CFP.
No bias, ha
The NCAA is knocking at our door.
?
Lots of Pitts, Toney & Grimes but also plenty of Shorter, Cope, Gamble, Zip & Whittemore. Didn’t see Henderson or the RBs though. Bottom line we got a bunch of options with experience and playing time coming back for Emory next year
He should win this award. What a story! This could be a movie or at least a 30 for 30 story. Thanks Kyle for being loyal and Gator Nation will always remember the heart and soul you brought to this 2020 team. Thanks!
Tebow won the Heisman with four losses.
