Florida’s equipment truck has received an updated look for the 2019 season. The new-look truck prominently displays the national championship trophies the Gators won in 1996, 2006 and 2008. A Georgia fan saw tweeted images of the truck and commented that the trophies weren’t level. You can probably guess where this is going.

The tweeters behind the official Twitter account for the Gators equipment staff weren’t having it.

“The trophy style has changed from the 90’s to the early 2000’s…just look at the last trophy you won almost 4 decades ago. Completely different. #AndNowYouKnow,” the account tweeted in reply.

The fact that UGA last won a national championship in 1980 has been a go-to line for rivalry trash-talking with Bulldogs fans. It appeared that Florida coach Dan Mullen trolled the Bulldogs when the Gators announced 39,476 for their spring game attendance. Leading up to the game, Mullen told reporters that the announced spring attendance number would likely reference a UF rival:

“Yeah, if you go 41,140 or something, I don’t know. You kinda do stuff like that. Have some fun. I don’t want to give away all my tricks, you guys keep asking, I’ve got tricks up my sleeve for the spring game. If I give them all away now, no one is going to be excited to find them out after, you gotta really search for them to see if you see little things.”

The 39,476 number (assumed to be a reference to 39 years and 476 games played since winning the 1980 national championship) amplified the back-and-forth trash-talking and trolling between the rival fanbases. It’s sure to be an eventful World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party come Nov. 2 in Jacksonville.
