It didn’t long for Urban Meyer’s Jacksonville program to receive its first fine from the NFL.

To be fair, the Jaguars weren’t the only team fined by the league this week, as the 49ers and Cowboys were also tagged for OTA violations according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

According to Schefter, Meyer has been hit with a $100,000 fine while the Jaguars have been fined $200,000 for their violations.

Meyer was fined twice as much as 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan or Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy.

The former Ohio State and Florida coach is currently embarking on his first offseason in the NFL after spending his entire coaching career at the collegiate level.
