O’Cyrus Torrence will be back in Florida’s starting lineup when the Gators face Georgia in the Cocktail Party on Saturday.

The offensive lineman had played in 6 games for the Gators in 2022. However, he was ruled questionable for the game by Billy Napier leading up to the contest against LSU and ultimately didn’t play. That said, Florida’s bye gave him an opportunity to get back to health, and he now is apparently good to go for Saturday against the Bulldogs.

Before coming to Florida, Torrence played for Napier at Louisiana for 3 seasons. He was a 1st-team All Sun-Belt selection in 2021 and received 2nd-team plaudits in 2020. According to his bio, the Ragin’ Cajuns offensive line gave up just 1.86 sacks per game in 2021. Prior to his injury, he had started all but 1 game in his entire college career.

Florida and Georgia kick off from TIAA Bank Stadium in Jacksonville on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, with the game set to be nationally televised on CBS.
