For a pair of former Gators, Saturday night served as a reunion of sorts.
With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Jacksonville for a preseason game against the Jaguars, it put Vernon Hargreaves III and Dante Fowler Jr. back in the same stadium for the first time since Fowler’s Florida career came to a close. The defensive standouts who played together during the 2013 and 2014 seasons marked the occasion by swapping jerseys.

Despite leaving UF a year apart, both Fowler and Hargreaves are looking to play in their first NFL season. Fowler missed last season after tearing his ACL in minicamp.
Both players appear to be on track for playing time this fall. Fowler has impressed throughout Jaguars camp and Hargreaves made a highlight pick last night.
