The Florida linebacking corps is reportedly taking a hit as the Gators prepare for whatever bowl assignment they receive.

Per a report from AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, LB Umstead Sanders has entered the NCA transfer portal and will explore his options.

Zenitz notes that Sanders is the older brother of highly touted Alabama RB Trey Sanders:

Sanders joined the Gators in 2018 after a stint at Hinds Community College. He redshirted that season.

Whether he ends up going to Alabama to play with his brother or whether he ends up somewhere else remains to be seen, but he’ll likely have some options for his final year of college eligibility.
