Report: Florida running back, former 4-star recruit, set to enter transfer portal
Florida is a step closer to its first SEC East title and first SEC Championship Game appearance since 2016 thanks to a 34-10 victory over Kentucky on Nov. 28.
It appears that one of the Gators’ running backs, though, is on the verge of leaving the program.
According to AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, redshirt sophomore Iverson Clement has entered the NCAA’s transfer portal. Since a transfer is not finalized, Clement is free to pull his name from the portal at any time, though.
Clement was used sparingly during his time in Gainesville as he spent most of his time in the special teams unit.
The Mount Holly, N.J. product was a 4-star recruit in the class of 2018, rated as the No. 7 player in New Jersey while being classified as an athlete after seeing time at multiple positions in high school.
The Gators face Tennessee on Saturday.
