Rob Sale has coached in the SEC before, and this past season in the NFL, he was the offensive line coach for the New York Giants and coach Joe Judge.

Now Sale appears to be heading back to the SEC to work for Billy Napier on the Florida coaching staff. The news came from Lawrence Tynes, who shared on social media, “Giants OL Coach Rob Sale told his unit this week that he will be taking a job with the Florida Gators.”

It would be a reunion for Sale and Napier after Sale spent the previous 3 seasons as the offensive coordinator and line coach at the Louisiana-Lafayette under Napier.

Sale previously was the offensive line coach at Arizona State and Georgia, and also worked from 2007-11 as a strength and conditioning assistant and offensive analyst at Alabama. He began his coaching career as the offensive line coach at Catholic High of Pointe Coupee in New Roads, La. in 2006, according to his Giants bio.
