After seeing them live, reaction pours in on Florida’s alternate uniforms

Florida took the field in its new alternate uniforms on Saturday, and the uniforms are interesting to say the least.

The look of the jersey is supposed to mimic an actual gator. The main color is green with a scaly pattern on the jersey and shoes and a dark green helmet.

It is an interesting idea, but the actual product does not quite look right. The shade of green is odd, especially considering that Florida’s dominant colors are blue and orange.

The entire outfit is truly awkward, and the reaction to the look has been overwhelmingly negative.
