Ty Evans isn’t ready for Florida’s season to end.
Evans hit 2 home runs in the first 3 innings of Florida’s elimination game against LSU on Sunday in Omaha. The 2nd blast was a grand slam which put Florida on top, 7-3.
The grand slam benefitted from a strong wind in Omaha — it was hit at a launch angle of 51 degrees, far above the optimal angle for a home run.

Florida is trying to win the College World Series for the first time since 2017 — its lone national title in program history.
The Gators have to win on Sunday in order to face a winner-take-all Game 3 on Monday in Omaha. LSU defeated Florida 4-3 in 11 innings on Saturday night.
