Ventrell Miller, who only played in 2 games this season for the Florida Gators, announced on Instagram that he would return next season at linebacker.

Miller suffered a torn biceps tendon and later had surgery, which ended his season. He made 8 tackles in the 2 games he played against Florida Atlantic, and South Florida.

In his announcement, Miller wrote, “Life is full of tough decisions. However my mind is made up. I’m Excited to announce that I will be entering the New Years as a Florida Gator! Merry Christmas. #LastRide #gogators”

In 2020, Miller led the team in tackles (88) and started 10 of 11 games, as he also chipped in 3.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for a loss.

After he redshirted the 2017 season, the 2022 season will be Miller’s sixth in Gainesville.
