Florida has had a busy early signing period, as 20 of its 21 commits in the 2019 class have signed their letters of intent to play for the Gators.

As the letters came in and early signing day ceremonies took place, Florida coach Dan Mullen and his staff were together watching high school players choose their program, paying particular attention to three uncommitted 4-star prospects from just down the road in Lakeland.

On Thursday, the Gators released a video on Twitter showing Mullen and his coaches’ reactions as the Lakeland Trio picked Florida at their ceremonies:

It certainly has to be rewarding for Mullen and his staff to see their recruiting efforts pay off in the form of commits signing early letters of intent to their program.

Florida currently has the No. 17 class in the nation, per the 247sports composite rankings, which includes 13 4-star recruits. All but one of those 4-stars signed their letter of intent during this week’s early signing period.

This is the second year that college football has had an early signing period, and many recruits have opted to utilize these dates to lock in their college decision.
