WATCH: Feleipe Franks tells Florida fans to hush after scoring TD
Florida got off to an absolutely miserable start against South Carolina. On offense, the Gators struggled to move the ball. On defense, UF wasn’t tackling anybody and allowed the Gamecocks to march up and down the field with ease.
Late in the first quarter, Florida trailed 14-0 and South Carolina held a total yardage of 167 to minus 1. Unsurprisingly, there were some boo birds in The Swamp crowd. The boos were particularly loud for QB Feleipe Franks.

So when Franks scored a rushing touchdown to tie it 14-14 (South Carolina has since gone up 21-14), he told the home fans to hush, as seen in the gif below:

This probably won’t help with coach Dan Mullen’s pleas for fans to fill the stadium.
I’m no lip reading expert, but pretty sure he told them to “shut the f*ck up.” Classy.
Yeah, I got that too.
Don’t be a moron, gator. I am sure there is an explanation.
Poor attempt, you salty over your own dumb comment?
That didn’t make any sense, but ok.
He’s young. Young people do stupid things. A wiser person would know one good play doesn’t mitigate a hundred crappy ones.
When the Gators are being beaten miserably by yet another unranked team, it’s hard not to boo. They should be ahead by a double-digit margin right now, and instead they’re in the process of turning in another unwatchable, inexplicable loss. At this rate, they’re going to end the season struggling to win the Cure Bowl.
They are going to end the season 6-6. And how we start the season out strong and end with all losses. But it is Mullen first year give him two more years.
Wrong!!!!
hahaha I retract my statement. But this team still has a long way to go to finish the season with wins and a bowl win.
He did it again! And while we’re cheering him. He doesn’t understand this whole hoping/cheering thing.
It’s not the Gators vs the world, it is the Gators vs their own fan base. Could get worse before it gets better….
