WATCH: Florida’s Blake Reese steals home to give Gators lead in do-or-die super-regional game

The Florida Gators and Auburn Tigers are playing in a do-or-die, winner-takes-all Game 3 in the Gainesville super-regional, and it’s a tight game.

The score was tied 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning before 2B Blake Reese took things into his own hands.

As you can see below, with Nick Horvath on first, Reese breaks for the plate. Horvath draws the pitcher’s attention just long enough for Reese to get home safely:

As you can see here, Horvath executed the (presumably fake) fall while stealing second base to perfection:

Now in the bottom of the fifth inning, the game is still 2-1 in favor of the Gators. With bold plays like this, the defending national champions could well be on their way back to Omaha.
