Florida State just made a massive late addition to its 2025 recruiting class.
The Noles pulled off a signing-day flip of 4-star defensive lineman Tylon Lee. He announced his decision to flip from Ole Miss to Florida State in a ceremony at his high school on Friday.
Lee has also already officially signed with the Noles. Here’s the announcement from the program, which came shortly after his public commitment:

This is a huge pickup for Florida State in the class of 2025. He’s the No. 278 overall player and the No. 29 defensive lineman in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 41 player from the state of Florida.
Florida State has parted ways with multiple assistant coaches in recent weeks, making this a particularly-challenging recruiting cycle for the Noles. But landing a prospect of Lee’s caliber during the Early Signing Period certainly helps make up for some of the prospects FSU has lost to other programs in recent weeks.
Florida State now has 19 commits in the class of 2025. The group sits at No. 23 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings. Amongst SEC schools, only Miami and Georgia Tech have higher-rated classes.
