When Georgia posted its updated roster for 2021, the names of multiple seniors instantly stood out to beat reporters and Bulldogs fans. UGA has now officially confirmed the return of two seniors for 2021.

Anthony Dasher of UGASports has confirmed with Georgia SID Claude Felton that receiver Demetris Robertson and defender Julian Rochester will take advantage of the NCAA’s offer to return for another season due to the COVID-related circumstances of 2020.

Robertson, a Savannah native, originally signed with Cal in the class of 2016. After two seasons with the Golden Bears, he transferred to UGA, receiving eligibility to play for the Bulldogs in 2018. Over the past three seasons, he has appeared in 32 games for Kirby Smart’s squad, recording 42 catches for 443 yards and 3 touchdowns as well as 10 rushes for 161 yards and a TD.

For Rochester, it will be his sixth season with the Dawgs. He played in five games this past season before tearing his ACL. The former McEachern standout has played in 51 career games, recording 103 tackles including 5.5 sacks.

Outside linebacker Walter Grant was also listed on the 2021 roster. Felton, however, told Dasher that Grant won’t be returning for the 2021 season as a graduate student.
