Georgia’s class of 2023 was just made a little better.
Jamaal Jarrett, the No. 5 player out of the state of North Carolina, committed to the Bulldogs Tuesday over Auburn and his home state program of North Carolina, per On3 recruiting expert Hayes Fawcett.

And head coach Kirby Smart is getting a mammoth of a man on the defensive line. Jarrett stands at 6-foot-6, 340 pounds and is rated as the No. 25 defensive lineman in the country.
Jarrett is Georgia’s 11th highest commitment of the 2023 class. He is the Bulldogs’ 2nd defensive line commit of the cycle alongside 3-star Seven Cloud.
The Bulldogs are rated at No. 6 in 247 Sports’ overall class rankings.
