Alabama commit VanDarius Cowan teases interest in continuing his career at Georgia
Under Kirby Smart’s leadership, Georgia has proven to be a dynamic force in the recruiting world.
UGA has also demonstrated the ability to be a thorn in the side of Alabama.
2017 Alabama commitment Markail Benton announced he will take a trip to Athens. Following suit, fellow ’17 Crimson Tide pledge VanDarius Cowan also revealed that he will check out the Georgia campus:

Cowan is a 4-star defender from the Palm Beach area in Florida. The current climate of both the NFL and the college football game dictates teams being equipped with excellent pass rushers. Cowan is the trendy prototype of what programs look for — as he’s a long, athletic, hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker.
Should Georgia poach one, if not both of these prospects, it’ll send Alabama a strong message that the Bulldogs will not be afraid to challenge for any recruit — committed or not.
