Former Georgia S Dominick Sanders didn’t hear his name called during the 2018 NFL Draft, but was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles shortly thereafter.

However, he was released by the Eagles after only a couple of weeks, making him a free agent again. Now, as the 2018 season quickly approaches, it appears Sanders will end up with one of the Eagles’ NFC East rivals.

In a post from DallasCowboys.com writer Nick Eatman (which was retweeted by the Cowboys’ main Twitter account), Sanders is expected to head to Dallas:

Sanders piled up an impressive 16 interceptions during his time at Georgia. If he can show those ballhawking skills over the next couple of weeks, and also contributes on special teams, he may be able to stick around Dallas for the 2018 season.

For now, though, he has a new NFL home, and will try his best to make this one stick.
