No. 1 Georgia will face another undefeated team in the No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. However, the Bulldogs may be without their starting quarterback once again.

JT Daniels may miss the Kentucky game with a lat injury that he suffered earlier in the season. Kirby Smart stated that Daniels will be on a pitch count during practice.

Per 247 Sports, Danny Kanell, the former FSU quarterback turned CBS analyst, joined the ‘Cover 3 Podcast’ to talk about why he favors Stetson Bennett over JT Daniels:

“I’m watching Stetson Bennett make some pretty good throws, running the football,” said Kanell. “I think this is going to be a little bit trickier there, clearly, for Kirby Smart. Because what do you do when JT Daniels is healthy? Because I think it’s probably going to be this week, I assume, he dressed out and was in pads.”

Kanell also referenced how he believes the locker room will respond to either quarterback as well.

“I just feel like in the locker room, players are starting to respond to Stetson,” said Kanell.  “He’s been there longer, he’s played last year. I think it’s a tougher decision than people may think about whether to hand it back to JT Daniels. It’s a great problem to have. Because whether you hand it back to JT and he gets hurt again you know you’ve got a player who’s more than capable than winning games for you.”

Who will Georgia go with at quarterback? We’ll see as No. 1 Georgia (6-0) and No. 11 Kentucky (6-0) meet at Sanford Stadium at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS on Saturday.
