Words can hardly describe Jordan Davis of Georgia, but ESPN’s College GameDay analyst David Pollack tried. Pollack said he believes Davis is a beast on defense on a Bulldogs defense full of talent.

“He just has built-in should pads,” Pollack said. “God doesn’t make many mountain of men like that. Think about running the ball and that coming at you.”

Pollack said he thinks that Davis should be in the Heisman Trophy conversation during a conversation with reporters before Saturday’s “College GameDay” show on ESPN ahead of the Kentucky-Georgia game.

So far, Davis has 15 tackles and 1.5 sacks. The 6-foot-6 340 pounder would be the first defensive player to win the award since Charles Woodson of Michigan did it in 1997. He would also be the first Georgia Bulldog to win the award since the great Herschel Walker, who won in 1982.

Davis will have a chance to increase his chances when the Bulldogs face the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday.
