Mizzou transfer guard Anthony Robinson II commits to ACC program

Anthony Robinson II is leaving Mizzou to head back home.
Robinson, a native of Tallahassee, Florida, has decided to transfer to Florida State for the 2026-27 season. His agents shared the news with Joe Tipton of On3. Mizzou coach Dennis Gates was an FSU assistant coach from 2011-19 before taking the Cleveland State head coaching job.

Robinson spent 3 seasons with the Tigers. He was recognized as a member of the SEC All-Defensive Team for the 2024-25 season.
This past season, Robinson was one of four Tigers to appear in all 33 games. A 19-game starter, Robinson was MU’s fourth best scorer with 8.9 points per game. He was third on the team in assists with 3 per game.
In 2024-25, Robinson started 31 times, making 33 appearances on the year. He averaged 9 points per game, good for fourth on the team. He led the Tigers in assists with 3.5 per game, posting a 2.04 assist-to-turnover ratio, which ranked seventh in the conference.
As a freshman, Robinson played 13.4 minutes per game over 30 appearances. He was the first MU freshman to lead the team in steals (38, 1.3 per game) since the 2015-16 season. Robinson also averaged 3.9 points per game.
