The nation’s No. 1 recruiting class just got better as the Bulldogs have landed a new commitment from within the state’s borders.

The newest pledge to Georgia’s 2022 recruiting class comes from four-star receiver, De’Nylon Morrissette. The North Cobb High School standout is rated as the No. 35 receiver in the country and the state’s No. 22 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Morrissette currently hails from Kennesaw, Ga., but previously played for Attended St. Frances Academy in Baltimore during the 2019 high school season. He picked the Bulldogs over Alabama and Florida.

Following this news, Georgia now holds commitments from 13 prospects in the 2022 recruiting cycle. UGA already had the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class prior to Morrissette’s decision to commit to the program.

One look at Morrissette’s highlights and you’ll see why he’s such a coveted prospect. Once he has the ball in his hands, he’s incredibly dangerous on the football field.
