Aaron Davis’ stop in New York was a short one as the NFL rookie from Georgia has been released by the Giants.
After starting every game for the Bulldogs last season, and serving as a starter all four years in Athens, Davis went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft. Soon after the draft was completed, Davis was signed by New York.
The NFL team decided to sign free agent tight end Scott Simonson recently and unfortunately for Davis, that means he was released to make room.
The club announced the move on Tuesday:
#NYGiants sign TE Scott Simonson, waive/injure DB Aaron Davis.
