Former Georgia TE Arthur Lynch is facing some serious charges dating back to an incident in April of 2021 in Chattanooga.

Per a report from OnlineAthens.com, Lynch has been arrested and faces 2 counts of felony sexual battery.

The report states Lynch was arrested last week:

Lynch, 31, was arrested last week by the U.S. Marshals Service Smoky Mountains Fugitive Task Force on a warrant, according to the Blount County Sheriff’s Office.

Lynch lives and works in Knoxville, according to Tim Pickard of the U.S. Marshals Service. He was “picked up,” at the airport there. Lynch was indicted by a grand jury on the two felony sexual battery counts, according to records obtained by the Hamilton County Criminal Court, after investigators with the Chattanooga police department presented the case.

Lynch has been released on bond as he awaits trial.

Lynch was an all-SEC player at Georgia in 2013. He recorded 56 catches for 907 yards and 8 touchdowns during his Bulldogs career. He played for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL and also spent time with the New York Jets, Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons.
