The Georgia Bulldogs men’s basketball team hasn’t really challenged itself in nonconference play in recent years.

It seems the Bulldogs reel off an impressive-looking schedule in nonconference play and then become overmatched once SEC action begins.

Will that trend continue in 2021-22? The Bulldogs released the nonconference portion of their schedule on Wednesday, and there’s not much meat on the nonconference bone:

The Dawgs only have 1 true road game, but at least it is an intriguing matchup at Cincinnati. Memphis visiting Athens on Dec. 1 also looks like a good matchup.

Meanwhile, in the Legends Classic, the Dawgs will play a tough Virginia squad in the first game. Then, Georgia will take on either Providence or Northwestern in the second game.
