Offensive linemen Warren McClendon and Sedrick Van Pran, LB Jamon Dumas-Johnson, and DB Christopher Smith were announced as the captains. Smith is a senior, McClendon is a redshirt junior, and Van Pran and Dumas-Johnson are both sophomores.

Dumas-Johnson has collected 59 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 passes defended, and 1 forced fumble. Smith collected 47 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 INTs. McClendon and Van Pran are part of an offensive line that allowed the 2nd-fewest amount of sacks in 2022.
