It’s good to be King, and right now, the Georgia Bulldogs are the kings of college football.

The defending national champions are 4-0 and coming off a 39-22 win over Kent State at home. Sure, that may seem a little close for a game against the Golden Flashes played between the hedges, but a win is a win. The 2022 college football season has featured a handful of shocking upsets so far, and at the very least, the Bulldogs don’t find themselves on that list.

After the game, UGA released its players of the week:

Brock Bowers is one of the best tight ends in college football, but he actually led the Bulldogs in rushing on Saturday thanks to a 75-yard touchdown run he put together on a jet sweep on the game’s second play. He finished with two carries for 77 yards and two rushing touchdowns while also adding five catches for 60 yards on the day.

Defensively, the Bulldogs were led by sophomore linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson, who notched six tackles (including three tackles for loss) and two sacks.

Georgia, ranked No. 1 in college football, takes on unranked Missouri in Columbia this weekend.
