The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs return to Athens after downing the Florida Gators in Jacksonville last Saturday, 34-7.
The Dawgs will face the Missouri Tigers this coming Saturday. Mizzou comes off a hard-fought victory over the Vanderbilt Commodores, 37-28, but this is the toughest team the Tigers will face so far this season.
Although the Tigers should be an easy victory for the Dawgs, the Tigers over years have given Georgia problems at times. Last year, however, was not one of those times. The Bulldogs beat the Tigers, 49-14.
As per usual, Georgia named captains for this weekend’s contest and they are Justin Shaffer, Kearis Jackson, and Travon Walker.
