Georgia basketball landed its second commitment for the 2020 class as Jonathan Ned of Eastern Florida State College announced his pledge with Tom Crean’s program.

Ned is a 6-foot-9 200 pound wing, originally from Brentwood, California, who averaged 9.8 points last season, as he hit 44.7 percent from the field, 33.9 percent from 3-point range, and 4.7 rebounds per game. He started nine of 36 games.

Ned is the second commit to Crean and Georgia in this class following Josh Taylor of Norcross, Georgia.

Georgia has developed some recent momentum in recruiting under Crean after it had the nation’s No. 10 class last year, which was headlined by 5-star shooting guard Anthony Edwards from Atlanta, the No. 2 overall prospect in the country for the 2019 class. Columbia (S.C.) Oak Hill Academy small forward Christian Brown was also ranked as the nation’s No. 67 overall prospect and No. 3 overall recruit in Virginia.

Georgia was 11-21 last season, including 2-16 in SEC play in Crean’s first season.
