Georgia has had a handful of players enter the transfer portal since winning the national championship on Monday.

On Wednesday evening, their defensive backfield reportedly took another hit after losing veteran Ameer Speed to the portal earlier this week.

Now, according to Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Jalen Kimber is joining Speed in exploring his transfer options:

Kimber appeared in 3 games in 2 years with the Bulldogs — 2 in 2020 and 1 in 2021. He recorded 3 total tackles during his time with the Dawgs.

Kimber was a 4-star cornerback in the class of 2020. Per the 247Sports composite rankings, he was the No. 9 cornerback in the class and the No. 13 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
