Carson Beck and Brock Vandagriff were popular players for Georgia fans in the first half of the 16-6 game at Missouri as Georgia trailed at halftime.

The backup quarterbacks came to mind for fans after Stetson Bennett and the Georgia offense struggled. Bennett overthrew several receivers, including a swing pass late in the first half when Georgia settled for a field goal. Overall, Bennett was 10-for-23 passing for 149 yards, with 4 carries for 1 yard.

Georgia fans looking to move on from Bennett is nothing new, as it was a dominant storyline for much of last season, except that season involved JT Daniels.

Beck has played sparingly this season. He completed 5 of 6 passes for 71 yards, including an 18-yard TD toss in the season-opening win against No. 11 Oregon, then was 5-for-7 passing for 52 yards against Samford, and 5-of-6 for 55 yards against South Carolina, including a 28-yard TD pass.

Vandagriff also saw action against Samford and South Carolina.
