What a game the National Championship Game turned out to be.
However, with every great game, there can be only one winner, and that wasn’t meant to be for the Georgia Bulldogs on Monday night, as an impressive fourth-quarter comeback spurred Alabama to victory.
The Tide may have won, but the Bulldogs are still feeling good about where they are under coach Kirby Smart, as he led the team to a title game in only his second year at the helm of the program.
Things are looking up for the Dawgs, even after Monday’s devastating loss. After the game, Georgia fans flocked to Twitter to express their undying support for their team:
Still love my dawgs – thanks for one helluva season #GoDawgs

That’s a tough one to swallow. Congrats to Bama in another title though lol. Really wanted to see these seniors go out on top. But once again, congrats to Bama. Hell of a game #GoDawgs
