Georgia fans wonder what could have been in 2020 if JT Daniels had started sooner
The Georgia Bulldogs were tied with Mizzou 14-14 late in the second quarter. From that point on, though, it was all Dawgs.
Georgia scored just before halftime and then poured it on in the second half, cruising to a 49-14 victory in Columbia.
QB JT Daniels was solid, particularly after the first quarter and a half. He finished 16-of-27 for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns, with 0 interceptions. WR George Pickens made some spectacular plays, finishing with 5 grabs for 126 yards and 2 scores.
But, Daniels was who Georgia fans wanted to talk about after the game. He’s now 3-0 as a starter and Georgia fans are wondering if this season might have gone differently if Daniels was starting sooner:
JT Daniels would’ve beat Florida. There I said it.

Wow… Firmly believe this healthy UGA team with JT Daniels at QB would have beaten UF and given Bama a run for their money. Y’all sleepin on them

I feel like Kirby been known that JT Daniels should’ve been in this whole damn season. #UGA

I know they’re not getting the ranking now, but Georgia is a top 4 team in the country with JT Daniels and you cannot convince me otherwise

No disrespect to Florida, but you have to wonder what could’ve happened had JT Daniels been the UGA QB in the Florida game. The way this Georgia team is playing right now, they should’ve been destined for Atlanta. But hat tip to Florida too, they’ve had a heck of a season.

I wish Georgia had a healthy JT Daniels and George Pickens vs. Bama and Florida. Just different

UGA would’ve beaten Florida with JT Daniels.

Kirby Smart continues to QB illiterate why tf why you play Stetson over Carson Beck.

Why did Kirby Smart start Stetson Bennett in those games early in the season?

I’m a little dubious of the competition JT’s faced, but his play since coming in makes you wonder…. what was Kirby Smart thinking for so much of this season? https://t.co/XCn05lCqHu

This question will continue to hang around this program. Coach Kirby Smart has said it was a health issue, but it’ll be interesting to see if that question comes up again in the next week.
