Georgia instant-impact commit: Terry Godwin
One of two five-star commits in Georgia’s 2015 class, athlete Terry Godwin is a threat to score on every touch, a heralded prospect with enough talent to play multiple positions in the SEC early in his collegiate career.
Recruited to step in as another speed option on offense, Godwin played several positions at Callaway High in Hogansville, Ga., but receiver is his strength, a physical presence despite being just 6-feet, 170 pounds.
Through precise route running, Godwin rarely lost a 1-on-1 battle at the prep level and was especially proficient in jump-ball situations. Starting at cornerback as well, Godwin swallowed his side of the field and was recently named a first-team All-American defensive back by USA Today.
The recent exit of offensive coordinator Mike Bobo could affect Godwin’s commitment. Auburn is in the picture and is expected to make a late push, perhaps luring Godwin to the Plains as a defensive back on Will Muschamp’s unit.

With Georgia wideouts Michael Bennett and Chris Conley on the way out this season, the chance to play early in Athens remains on the table for a player with offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, Southern Cal and several others.
My boy Bobo got and great opportunity to climb the ladder and took advantage of it !!! He’s still a Dawg on the inside ??
