Georgia lands big commitment from Virginia DE Jaevon Becton

The Georgia Bulldogs reached all the way into Virginia Beach, Virginia, for their latest commitment.
Three-star defensive Jaevon Becton committed to Georgia Wednesday night, becoming the Bulldogs’ third commitment in the class of 2018.
Becton released the news from his Twitter account:
The edge rusher is listed at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, and he’s rated the nation’s No. 40 weak-side defensive end and the state of Virginia’s No. 16 overall player, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Becton boasted offers from Virginia Tech, N.C. State and Maryland, among others.
