Much has been made in recent weeks about the Georgia Bulldogs’ slow start to their 2021 recruiting class, but Wednesday brought some good news for another class.

That’s because 4-star 2022 LB Cedric “CJ” Washington — the No. 98 overall player in the 2022 class — committed to the program.

As you can see below, the Cedartown, Georgia, native announced his decision via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Washington is the No. 5 inside linebacker in the 2022 class and the No. 12 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

The Bulldogs now have 2 players in their 2022 recruiting class. Prior to Washington’s commitment, the class ranked No. 8 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
