The Georgia Bulldogs were hurt earlier this year when SEC East rival Tennessee hired OC Jim Chaney away from their staff.

Now, Kirby Smart has done the same thing (on a slightly lesser scale) to another SEC East rival — the Florida Gators.

As you can see in the tweet below, Smart announced that the Dawgs had hired former Florida CB coach Charlton Warren to coach their defensive backs:

Warren has spent time with the Volunteers, Gators, North Carolina, Nebraska and Air Force in his career, which spans back to 2003.

He fills an important position on the Bulldogs staff, as he’ll have to help rebuild a secondary that is losing star CB Deandre Baker to the NFL Draft this year.
