Georgia and North Carolina will both wear home jerseys in season opener
As if the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game could get any better, it was announced Friday that both Georgia and North Carolina will wear their home jerseys for season-opening game; as the game is technically considered a home game for both teams.
The Bulldogs will of course be wearing Georgia Red with the Tarheels wearing Carolina blue. The Chick-fil-A official twitter sent out this tweet to announce the news:

The Bulldogs hold the all-time edge in the series by a margin of 16-12-2, with the last meeting between the two schools taking place all the way back in 1971.
The season kickoff between the SEC and ACC foes takes place Sept. 3 in Atlanta.
