Georgia offensive guard signee shows off skills at wrestling meet
When the Georgia Bulldogs gained a pledge from in-state offensive lineman Dylan Fairchild, they ultimately signed the No. 5 guard in the country in the 2021 recruiting class. The offensive line has always been a priority for the Dawgs, and in Fairchild, they hope that they have brought yet another eventual star into the fold.
Fresh off the fall football season, Fairchild has shifted his attention to wrestling, as he looks to continue a terrific high school career that included a state championship last season. His quest for a 2nd straight title saw him at a regional meet on Saturday as he moved on to the next round.

Fairchild, one of the top 100 recruits in the country, brings plenty of size to the Dawgs at 6-foot-5 and 298 pounds. He’s proven to be not just a good football player, but a solid athlete, one that should serve Georgia’s front 5 well in due time.
