Georgia OLB Davin Bellamy has been playing through a broken hand for the past couple of weeks, but it hasn’t stopped him from taking the field.

In the past two games, while playing with a club on the injured hand, Bellamy has wracked up five tackles (2.5 for a loss) and one sack.

Bellamy has found playing with the cast weird, describing it as carrying a dumbbell around for the entire game (via OnlineAthens.com):

“It’s about two or three pounds,” he said. “It’s like I’ve got a dumbbell on my arm the whole time.

“I think this is the last week for it and hopefully we’ve got that bye week and I’ll be free before Florida.”

Clearly, Bellamy hasn’t been slowed down by the club much, so he’ll still be a big factor in Saturday’s game against Mizzou.

The senior is a big part of the Bulldogs’ defense, so having him available is a big boost for Kirby Smart’s unit.
