Tae Crowder’s dreams of playing for his favorite school came true Monday night when the 6-foot-3, 220-pound running back committed to Georgia after a late offer from the Bulldogs following Chris Carson’s flip to Oklahoma State.

“(Georgia) offered me today,” Crowder told 247Sports’ Rusty Mansell. “That is where I wanted to go, that is where my Mom wanted me to go. It happened so quickly today. I can’t believe it, I am so ready.”

Crowder is a three-star prospect from Hamilton, Ga., who previously committed to Georgia Southern the week before Christmas. He has offers from Cincinnati and Kentucky among others.

Crowder will likely redshirt this season and provide depth in the Bulldogs’ backfield for 2016.
