The Georgia Bulldogs recently hired a pair of assistants in Cortez Hankton and Scott Fountain.

Specific roles for Fountain and Hankton have not been finalized, but Hankton is expected to coach the Bulldogs’ wide receivers, as that’s the position he played.

According to Macon.com, the Bulldogs will pay Hankton $375,000 for the 2018 season and Fountain will make $300,000 this year.

Fountain was a special teams analyst for Georgia last season, while Hankton coached receivers at Vanderbilt.

Both will play key roles on coach Kirby Smart’s on-field staff, and they’ll have their work cut out for them to keep their groups playing at elite levels.
