The Georgia Bulldogs are on an incredible roll this season.

The Bulldogs are up to No. 4 in the AP Poll, but the results off the field have been just as impressive as the wins on the field. Head coach Kirby Smart and his staff have done a remarkable job on the recruiting trail, and it appears another big-time player could be headed to Athens.

Smart has already landed two, five-star players for 2018 in RB Zamir White and QB Justin Fields. Fields, the top player in the nation for 2018 according to 247 Sports, recently committed to Georgia and is a huge win for the Bulldogs.

The latest recruit that could be headed to Athens is OL Jamaree Salyer. 247 Sports ranks Salyer as the top offensive guard in the nation, the third best player from the state of Georgia, and the seventh best player in the nation for 2018.

The Crystal Ball Predictions at 247 Sports has given a 95% prediction that Salyer will indeed join the Bulldogs. With Salyer, the Bulldogs would have three five-star recruits and three of the nations top 10 players. Fields and Salyer would also give the Bulldogs two of the top three players from the state of Georgia for 2018.

Georgia has already taken a big step forward during Smart’s second season in Athens. There is still a lot of work to do, both on and off the field, but Smart is showing an ability to win in all aspects of the game.

One of the big reasons for Georgia’s improvement is the strong rushing attack the Bulldogs have shown. The Bulldogs rank second in the SEC in rushing yards with 1,610. Guys like RB Nick Chubb, the SEC’s leading rusher with 618 yards, have stolen the headlines, but it is really the emergence of the offensive line that has improved the offense. Adding a guy like Salyer to the mix would likely pay huge dividends.

Here is a look at Salyer’s junior-year highlights:
